Hotel Rio Serrano, located in the Torres del Paine region, in Chilean Patagonia, strengthens its presence in the Brazilian market with the support of Patagonia Experience Travel, an agency specialized in unique destinations in the region. The initiative aims to further consolidate the hotel as one of the main destinations for Brazilian tourists in search of authentic experiences and contact with nature.
The property is one of the main hotels in the Torres del Paine region, standing out for the combination of a welcoming service with a deep immersion in an incomparable natural environment. We are located on the banks of the Serrano River, with dazzling views of the Paine Massif and the Paine mountain range,“ explains the hotel's commercial manager, Belen Arancibia.
The infrastructure includes 108 rooms divided into three categories, a spa with heated pool, saunas, an event center with capacity for 200 people, and two gastronomic options that highlight local cuisine.
In addition to hospitality, Rio Serrano has the partnership of The Massif, a company responsible for transfers and excursions, which provides guests with the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the region.

“In my first trip to Torres del Paine, which I made on foot coming from Brazil, when I saw the Rio Serrano Hotel on the high part at the entrance of the Park, I realized that this hotel would be a great trump card for all travelers who visit the park along the Serrano River. After passing by the incredible Toro Lake, visitors enjoy a spectacular view of the banks of the Serrano River. On clear skies, it is possible to admire the breathtaking beauty of the Rio Serrano Hotel in the background, surrounded by the majestic ‘Cuernos del Paine’,” says Patagonia Experience CEO Jefferson Gonzalez.
According to Gonzalez, who is a true ambassador of the Patagonian region in Brazil, the agency's partnership with the hotel began in 2010, and remains until today with great tranquility in each reservation. “All travelers who stay at the Rio Serrano Hotel only give us beautiful comments of kindness, excellent service, wonderful view and a delicious comfort, accompanied by excellent gastronomy. I love to stay at the hotel every time I go to Paine”, he adds.
Focus on the Brazilian market
The Brazilian market is strategic for the company, which has invested in actions to attract more visitors from Brazil. “The Brazilian market is very important to us, and we are investing in strategies to attract more visitors from that country. We recently started commercial representation in Brazil, and we are confident that this commitment will help us to increase our presence among Brazilian travelers”, emphasizes Bele.

Expansion and new projects
Part of the family holding led by the Arancibia family, Hotel Rio Serrano continues to expand its services and improve its facilities. “We are always looking for improvements. Recently, we inaugurated ARCA hogar, a home decor and housewares store, as well as ARCA food & service, which offers food through the cook & chill system. We continue to focus on continuous improvements to offer the best possible experience to our guests,” says the executive.
Belen Arancibia has a long career in the hotel industry. “My journey began at the age of 16, working as a chambermaid during the summer, which gave me a first glimpse of the hotel's operation. Over time, I assumed more strategic positions, such as leading the Food and Beverage department, and now I am in charge of the Commercial Department”, she says. She and her three sons manage the hotel, founded by their parents, maintaining the family spirit that characterizes the Rio Serrano Hotel.
