Inspired by the native peoples of southern Chile, Qawasqar is a restaurant that celebrates the authentic flavors of Patagonia with a warm, contemporary approach — all framed by a stunning view of the Paine Massif.
Our menu fuses international cuisine with local ingredients such as rainbow trout, fresh seafood, guanaco meat, lamb, and native fruits like calafate. The variety of grape types (Carmenere, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc) in our house wine, Patagonia, allows each dish to be perfectly paired. This culinary proposal is complemented by a wine list featuring a curated selection of Chilean wines, with Carmenere—Chile’s emblematic varietal—taking center stage. With a privileged view of the Paine Massif, De Agostini Restobar offers a culinary experience that blends tradition, territory, and fire. Our open-flame cooking brings to life lamb cuts, beef steaks, king crab from Magallanes, and fresh seafood — all accompanied by homemade desserts like rhubarb cake and calafate mousse.
